Michael Donovan’s music is original, and yet familiar. And he’s not shy about using emotionality to connect with audiences. Based in Canada, Donovan’s work is performed across the country. A trained opera singer, Michael has also performed throughout North America and Europe, notably in Germany, Switzerland, the US, and France. Donovan’s style is rooted in the art song tradition and his love of deep ecology, marrying text to original music that provides audiences a deeper immersive experience of the natural world.
